2017 Belarus-Ukraine Expert Delegation Coordination Meeting
In order to create a high-end talent cooperation platform for countries along the "Belt and Road" initiative and promote collaboration between foreign talent in technology and local enterprise projects, a talent technology project promotion conference for Belarus and Ukraine was held in Beilun on the morning of December 6. Mao Hongfang, a member of the Municipal Standing Committee and Secretary of the District Committee, met with members of the Belarusian and Ukrainian delegations and delivered a speech at the conference. Mao Hongfang welcomed the Belarusian and Ukrainian delegations on behalf of the District Committee and the District Government. He expressed that Beilun District sincerely hopes to build an international platform for information exchange and resource sharing through enterprise project connections, using the China-Ukraine International Talent and Technology Transfer Center as a platform.

Mao Hongfang welcomed the Belarusian and Ukrainian delegation's arrival on behalf of the District Committee and District Government. He expressed that Beilun District sincerely hopes to build a bridge for international cooperation through enterprise project docking, using the China-Ukraine International Talent Technology Transfer Center as a platform for information exchange and resource sharing, seeking cooperation in technology, education, and project application, and continuously expanding more and broader areas of cooperation. Beilun District sincerely invites experts, scholars, and scientific teams from Belarus and Ukraine to work and exchange in Beilun, and the District Committee and District Government will fully cooperate and support, providing "nanny-style" services to deepen cooperation between both parties.
Professor Sherege, an academician of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, Director of the Department of Mechanical Manufacturing Technology at Belarusian National Technical University, and head of the Belarusian delegation, and Professor Strizhak, an academician of the Institute of Physical Chemistry of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine and head of the Ukrainian delegation, both delivered speeches at the promotion meeting. They highly praised Beilun's economic and social development and expressed hope to establish a good cooperative relationship with Beilun District, enhance mutual understanding and trust, and truly achieve mutual benefit and win-win results through a series of talent technology project collaborations.
